By accessing or using PensionChart ('the Service'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.

2. Description of Service

PensionChart is an informational platform that helps users track and understand pension entitlements across multiple countries. The Service provides tools for document analysis, benefit estimation, timeline visualization, and report generation. The Service does not provide financial, legal, or tax advice.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use the Service to upload malicious content, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or interfere with other users' access to the Service. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written consent.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by PensionChart and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your uploaded documents remain your property; however, you grant us a limited license to process them for the purpose of providing the Service.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Pension estimates, projections, and analysis results are for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for financial decisions.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PensionChart shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

8. Subscription and Payments

Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change our pricing with reasonable notice.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time through your profile settings.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Netherlands, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
