Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2026
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your email address, display name, date of birth, country work history, and pension documents you upload. We also collect usage data such as pages visited, features used, and device information through standard web analytics.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Service, including processing pension documents with AI analysis, generating benefit estimates, sending treaty alerts and milestone notifications, and providing customer support. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Document Processing
Pension documents you upload are processed using AI services to extract relevant data. You can choose to have your original documents stored securely or discarded immediately after analysis. Extracted data is stored in your account to provide ongoing Service functionality.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase infrastructure with row-level security policies. We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate the platform, including Supabase for data storage and authentication, Anthropic for AI document analysis, Stripe for payment processing, and Vercel for hosting. These providers have their own privacy policies governing their handling of your data.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may share your data with third-party service providers who assist in operating the Service (as listed above), when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of PensionChart and its users. Shared reports you generate are accessible only via unique links you control.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time through your account settings. You may request a copy of all data we hold about you. If you are an EU resident, you have additional rights under the GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to restrict processing.
8. Cookies and Tracking
We use essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We may use analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookie settings through your browser preferences. The Service does not respond to Do Not Track signals.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Document analysis results may be retained in anonymized form for service improvement purposes.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the effective date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
